While the warmth of Tunis and the spectacular world premiere of F.A.S.L. still lingers in our bones, there’s also a touch of December melancholy at ICK.
The melancholy of a year in which we celebrated our 30th anniversary with the Rhino Dance Marathon two heated nights of shared intensity. A year in which we concluded the European research project PREMIERE and launched HAMLET in Thessaloniki, exploring the value of technology and AI in art. A year in which enchantment was never far away with Bahoran’s MYSTIC, a year that celebrated Pride with pride, a year in which the indomitable Melisa Diktas received a well-deserved award, and Robin Coops questioned masculinity with all that followed.
A turbulent year, one that called for reflection and realignment, yet also one in which we were supported by FPK & AFK, by our staff and volunteers, by the physiotherapists of WIJS, and by our audience.
For that, we are grateful.
All that remains is to wish you Love, Peace & Happiness as we dance the year away…
