ICK Dans Amsterdam continuously develops a wide range of media and workshops to provide context for its performances and events. Furthermore, many projects are interactive or are even co-created with audience.
During our open rehearsals, the We Togethers, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the creative process up close. See how our dancers and choreographers collaborate, experiment, and refine their skills — from initial ideas to the first dance scenes.
The ICK Dans Parade is the annual opening festival in September of ICK at the Meervaart in Amsterdam. In one dynamic hour, the company presents the new season through a stream of pop-up performances, experiments, and short encounters. Both established choreographers and new talents, our dancers and the new ICK-Next dancers (Junior company) take the spotlight. The event is raw, accessible, and the perfect way to discover the future of dance.
Together with our partners in the region, we are setting Amsterdam in motion! At our home base, Space for Dance Art, we work with the community to create a vibrant programme full of projects, workshops and intimate festivals. Meet us at major events such as Museumnacht, Julidans and Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
