The Devil’s Staircase is a rhythmic dance sequence from L.A.V.A., the performance in which the choreographic worlds of Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten and Roberto Zappalà come together. In L.A.V.A., different physical languages meet in a powerful dialogue about rhythm, community, and cultural exchange.

The Devil’s Staircase is a compact choreographic sequence of steps, directions, repetitions, and rhythm. On stage, it is part of a larger whole. Outside the theatre, it takes on a life of its own.
