At ICK, we work with artists who explore the practice of the body – in all its forms, contradictions, and possibilities. We invite choreographers, performers, and interdisciplinary makers to our Space for Dance Art (SfDA) in Amsterdam: a place for research, creation, exchange, and growth.

We believe artistic development happens through encounter – when different bodies, histories, and urgencies meet. Through dialogue, friction, and time. The body is central: as a source of knowledge, a social and political entity, and a space for imagination and change.

Each collaboration is shaped around the artist’s practice and questions. Artists come to SfDA to research, rehearse, develop, and sometimes present work. We offer studio space, time, and exchange – with our team, dancers, fellow makers, and the wider community.

Guest Artists enrich our ecosystem. Where relevant, they share their work through workshops, open rehearsals, research events, or public moments – both inside and outside traditional forms.

Our guest artists, 2026–2027 season:
Sedrig Verwoert, Ainhoa Hernández Escudero, Amit Palgi, Elisa Zuppini, Liza Sulaiman, Lucinda Wessels, Lunatics and Poets, Melisa Diktaş and Thais Di Marco.

We work with a small group each year, to ensure real attention and continuity. Our programme grows from ongoing relationships and artistic affinities – not through open calls, but through dialogue and mutual interest.
