Lucinda Wessels (1990, the Netherlands) is a multidisciplinary artist working as a dancer, choreographer, and DJ. Rooted in street and club culture, and inspired by contemporary art and fashion, she has developed a unique movement language that blends street styles with contemporary dance. As a performer, she has brought her expressive, emotion-driven approach to companies including Dutch National Opera & Ballet, ISH Dance Collective, Nicole Beutler Projects, and The Ruggeds. In her own work, she creates multidisciplinary projects that explore the human psyche, emotion, and energy, transforming philosophical concepts into compelling physical experiences. Her practice bridges performance, research, and club culture into an authentic, contemporary artistic vision.

Lucinda Wessels is currently working on a long-term research project titled FLUID FORMS, with various touchdowns at different moments, venues, and with different accents. FLUID FORMS revolves around duets: duets between bodies, between movement languages, between internal and external selves, and between visible and invisible structures that shape the body. Always focusing on encounter and dialogue, Wessels investigates different ways in which bodies relate to systems, identities, and internal landscapes. This research will culminate in November 2026 with the premiere of FLUID FIGURES (part of Nicole Beutler Projects’ FUTURE VOICES).

FLUID FORMS is produced by Nicole Beutler Projects in coproduction with ICK Dans Amsterdam and Korzo, in collaboration with Dutch National Ballet.
