With stories, physical theatre and dance, three performers argue for a softer view on time. Not to the second. Not with a schedule. But with a humorous mix of remembering, looking forward and déjà vu.
Mixed Signal Collective is a humoristic existential dance theater group founded by the friends Amit Palgi, Claudio Murabito and David Feenstra. They came from different places in the world and graduated as dancers in The Netherlands. Now they use their playful and confusing energy as friends to explore new perspectives on life.
Amit Palgi (1998, Isr\Aut) is an Amsterdam-based artist who graduated from the Maslool for Professional Dancers, Tel Aviv (2019) and from the BA Dancer/Maker at ArtEZ, Arnhem (2023). He has created for and with Café Theatre Festival, Still Moving Schiedam, Concordia Theatre, Performance Technology Lab and others. With his art, he wants to offer new approaches about how we look at our lives and how we share and think about dance.
David Feenstra (2002, Groningen) is a freelance interdisciplinary choreographer who graduated from the BA Dancer/Maker at ArtEZ (2023). Within a wide range of interests, he works with improvisation, randomness and projection. He works with ICK Dans Amsterdam, Het Houten Huis, Orpheus Theatre, Korzo and others as a performer and maker.
Claudio Murabito (1999, Sicily, It), is a BA performer graduated from Codarts in 2022, based in Rotterdam. A pyroclastic and phantasmagoric essence in the service of permanent research through dance, performance, poetry and sound. Worked with Marina Abramović, Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten, Isabelle Beernaert and others.
