Hiroki knew he wanted to be a dancer when he first left Japan to attend a summer school. For him, this school reaffirmed the diversity and joy of dancing. He trained at Miyashita Yasuko Ballet school, Kyoto Japan, and at the Ecole Supérieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower, Mougins France. Before Joining ICK in 2019, Hiroki worked with Ballet National de Marseille.Before joining the ICK Ensemble in 2019, Hiroki did an internship at the Ballet National de Marseille, which was then led by Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten.

— I connect with my intuitive body through breathing. With every breath, I try to feel the change in tension down to the smallest cell. The music helps too.
