Space for Dance Art turns five!

‘Space for Dance Art is not a closed house for professionals, but a place where movement is shared,’ says Director and choreographer Pieter C. Scholten. ‘Dancers and makers work here every day on the future of dance, while visitors, local residents and partners can also experience that world up close through one of our weekly open programmes.’

On Thursday 11 September, Space for Dance Art on Rijnlandlaan in Amsterdam will open its doors for a festive celebration. Under the title House in Motion, ICK Dans Amsterdam’s home base will celebrate its fifth anniversary — and everyone is welcome: audiences, local residents, makers, partners and anyone curious to discover this unique home for contemporary dance.
