The much-talked-about performance ROCCO/ROCCA, by now a classic of the ICK repertoire, will be touring Dutch theatres in the coming months.
Inspired by Visconti’s movie Rocco e i suoi fratelli, the performance unfolds in a boxing ring. With the audience seated all around, the blood, sweat, and tears of the dancers—who become boxers, or boxers who become dancers—are almost tangible. Razor-sharp footwork and virtuosity abound in this work, which at its core is about survival and brother-/sisterhood.

The performance WE, the BREATH also returns on a Dutch tour. Part of the WE-Cycle—exploring strength, vulnerability, and the intuitive body—this breathtaking work is driven by beat and pulse, and by the irresistibly propulsive, electronically charged I Feel Love by Donna Summer.
